Hello, I’m the founder of KindNest Companions and LilyNest Nursery. My professional background is in education, where I work as a Senior Lecturer in Law and hold a PhD. My career has always been centred around supporting others, building trust, and creating environments where people feel valued, respected, and cared for.

Alongside my academic work, I founded LilyNest Nursery, a nurturing setting created to provide families with warmth, reassurance, and high-quality care. Through this journey, I saw first-hand how meaningful relationships and personalised support can have a lasting impact not only on children, but on entire families.

KindNest Companions was created from a genuine desire to extend that same care and compassion to older adults in our community. I recognised that many people do not necessarily need formal care; they need companionship, consistency, dignity, and someone they can rely on. I wanted to create a service that offers families peace of mind while helping their loved ones feel connected, valued, and supported in their everyday lives.

I am proud to lead a small team of carefully selected companions who are personally trained by me to deliver the same high standards of kindness, professionalism, and person-centred support that are at the heart of KindNest. All team members hold enhanced DBS certificates, giving families added reassurance and confidence.

My vision is simple: to provide a thoughtful, reliable service that helps people feel less alone, remain independent, and enjoy a better quality of life in the comfort of their own home.
